Janet Foy
Janet Foy is a FEI 5* (Level 4) Dressage Judge, Young Horse Judge and USEF “S” Dressage Judge, and author of the Book “Dressage for the Not so Perfect Horse.”

Janet has judged all the major shows in the United States and Canada including the NA Young Rider Championships and the 2019 Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru. Janet judged the Paris World Cup Finals in 2018, in Omaha 2023 and in Saudi Arabia in 2024. She was on the panel for the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam and the 2025 panel in Crozet. Janet has been honored to judge many top CDIWand CDI 5* in the world including the famous Aachen 5*. Janet has also been to Australia and South America, judging in Brazil and also judging the Central American Games in Bogota and the Central American Caribbean Games in Puerto Rico. She judged the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021 (delayed due to COVID). In 2022 Janet was the FEI Technical Delegate for the World Dressage Championships inHerning, Denmark , and the Central American Games in Bogota, the Pan Am Games in Chile and the Bolivarian Games and judged theWorld Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo, 2022 and2023. Janet is a former member of the AHSA and USEF Board of Directors as well as a former Board Member for USDF. She currently serves on the Dressage Sport Committee, a former Chair of the High PerformanceCommittee, and is a former member of the International DisciplinesCouncil. She also is a retired member of the USDF “L” Faculty. Janet has written two books Dressage for the Not so Perfect Horse and Dressage, Questions and Answers. She splits her time between Colorado Springs and Wellington, Florida.
