CRDA has a great year-end awards program for competitors.
Awards are given for the following divisions for a horse and rider combination:
Intro Level (any test): Average of 3 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN)
Training Level (any test): Average of 3 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN)
First Level (any test): Average of 3 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN)
Second Level and Above: Average of 3 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN)
Musical Freestyle: Average of 2 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN)
Leadline: Average of 2 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR ONLY)
Above Leadline: Average of 2 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR ONLY
USEA TOC: Average of 3 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN)
Riders w/Disabilities: Average of 3 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN)
Prix Caprilli: Average of 2 highest scores at a minimum of 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN)
Vintage: 50 to 59 Years of age (see details below) – Average of all scores, minimum of 3 scores by 2 different judges. (all divisions rated together).
Master: 60+ Years of age (see details below) – Average of all scores, minimum of 3 scores by 2 different judges. (all divisions rated together).
CRDA also has the following Rider High Point awards:
Overall High Point: Average of all scores received at a minimum of 3 tests, at 2 shows by 2 different judges (JR, AA, OPEN). (Can be ridden on multiple horses)

CRDA also has the following Rider High Point awards:

Competitors must meet the following criteria to receive a year-end award:
- In each level, rider’s eligible scores are taken from any of the tests available at that level.
- Rider must be a member of CRDA in good standing (dues paid prior to the show date) for scores to count.
- Must have contributed at least 4 hours of volunteer time to CRDA during the year. Show volunteer’s hours are tracked by the Volunteer Coordinator. For volunteer time at other events, please make sure to return a signed volunteer form to the Volunteer Coordinator by September 30, 2022.
- Effective July 2022, you may have a family member or friend volunteer on your behalf, and you do not have to personally complete the hours.
- All volunteer hours MUST be completed by 09/30/2024.
- Leadline, Above Leadline, Prix Caprilli, and Musical Freestyle scores are not eligible for Overall Rider High Point award calculations.
- Ribbons to be awarded to Champion through 6th place (if entries warrant).
- Awards and other honors will be presented at the Annual Banquet.
- Awards will be divided into Open, Junior, and Adult Amateur.
- Riders are eligible as Juniors from the beginning of the calendar year until the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 18.
- Riders are eligible for the Vintage Year End Award starting January 1st when the rider is 50 years old.
- Riders are eligible for the Masters (and no longer the Vintage) Year End Award starting January 1st when the rider is 60 years old.
